In just a few years in the NFL, he has quickly risen through the ranks and earned respect from his peers. One of Udinski’s best attributes is his ability to develop players, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. With the uncertain quarterback situation in Cleveland, it would be beneficial to have a coach who is highly skilled at developing and working with whoever is in that room.
He would bring a fresh perspective to the team and help the Browns catch up with other modern NFL offenses. Udinski is known for his ability to adapt and make informed decisions as new information becomes available. He is not married to one way of doing things.
Cleveland now has some competition for the young Udinski:
Taking a risk on a young coordinator could have a high return. It has worked out well for many other organizations, like Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams. Sometimes teams must make bold decisions to achieve that kind of return. Should Cleveland not choose to hire him this offseason, there is a good chance he will be picked up by another team next offseason.
