A man was killed in a shooting in Miami-Dade, and a woman was detained to determine her involvement, according to the sheriff’s office.
It happened at around 3:35 a.m. at the Brownsville Village apartments in the 5100 block of Northwest 29th Avenue. Deputies were called to a ShotSpotter alert in the area.
When they arrived, they found the victim who had been shot and rushed him to Ryder Trauma Center. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The victim’s name has not been released.
A woman was detained and the sheriff’s office said investigators would determine her involvement in the incident.
