Boey’s options becoming clear (Kicker’s Georg Holzner via @iMiaSanMia)
Could Bayern Munich still sell Sacha Boey during this transfer window? Maybe.
According to this report, Everton, Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseille are still interested in right-back Sacha Boey:
Everton, Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseille are among clubs monitoring the situation of Sacha Boey. Bayern remain open to a January sale.
Hasn’t Everton already been burned once by Bayern Munich with an outside-back? It appears as if the English club is undeterred by its experience with Adam Aznou and could look back to Bayern Munich for Boey. As for Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseille, both could be a good landing spot for Boey, who speaks French.

Slot scoffs at Alonso question (Fabrizio Romano)
At his press conference on Tuesday, Liverpool FC boss Arne Slot was asked about Xabi Alonso. It did not go well:
🚨 Arne Slot when asked about Xabi Alonso and Liverpool job: “Xabi called me saying he will take over six months! No, no, no… One of the weirdest questions I’ve ever got!”
“I am working here for 18 months and I like my work here. Won the league, struggled more this season, that is obvious.”
Look, reporters are there to ask questions, but that is a stupid question.
Schalke reaches agreement with Džeko…can clubs agree on move? (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
Schalke 04 could be closing in on a move for Fiorentina striker Edin Džeko:
🚨💣 BREAKING | Schalke 04 and Edin #Dzeko have reached a full verbal agreement. Negotiations with Fiorentina are now under way.
Baumann/Muslic worked hard and convinced him. #S04 appeal to him, as revealed yesterday. Now only an agreement between the clubs is needed.

Even at 39-years-old, this seems kind of wild. Džeko has two goals in 18 games (722 minutes) across all competitions for Fiorentina.
Odds are slim for longer Jackson stay (Kicker’s Georg Holzner via @iMiaSanMia)
As it stands (and as expected), Nicolas Jackson is not likely to remain at Bayern Munich after this season:
The clear indication as things stand is that Nicolas Jackson will not be signed permanently by Bayern in the summer, not even for less than the agreed €65m option to buy. Jackson’s performances will be closely monitored for the rest of the season. Only a significant increase in the level of performances would make the club reconsider signing him.
