Sharks are famous for fearsome teeth, but ocean acidification could make them weaker

A group of German scientists tested the effects of a more acidic ocean on sharks’ teeth and found that future generations of sharks could have weaker teeth because of changing ocean chemistry. They found that sharks’ teeth could become structurally weaker and more likely to break as oceans become increasingly acidic.
