I don't think that the writer knows that most of the Singapore troops in Taiwan are CHINESE.
Does he know that or not?
PRC annexation of Taiwan is motherland gaining control of its own territory.
Why would Singapore chinese troops oppose that?
PLA troops are chinese. Taiwan military are chinese. The Singapore troops on Taiwan are also mostly chinese.
They are ALL CHINESE. This is completely a chinese affair.
There are no outsiders here.
