P-land Food Carts
by Anonymous

To every single food cart in Portland, Just because you cook, it doesn't mean you are a chef (so lose the chef attitude) . Just because you charge $25 for everything, doesn’t mean it’s worth the price. (We’d all prefer to sit, not be cold and actually be full afterward) Just because you were written up in WW or The Mercury 7 years ago, doesn’t mean people should actually eat there. (Your write up in local publications - which no one reads anymore - does not make you relevant.) Yes, you could argue, “food carts” give people a convenient way to experience new cuisine - but that is a joke;. With these prices, it would be more affordable to travel to the country of origin and dine there. Portland really needs to get over itself; no need for the holier than attitude anymore - no one wants to be here (especially those in the service industry - we know that as a fact with every sigh you give every customer everyday.) Step up your game Portland. You aren’t fooling anyone. Except for those who moved here 4 months ago, so if you want short term business, keep it up. Otherwise every business in this now new shantytown is doomed to fail.
