Angelyn Almonte finished with 18 points to lead DePaul, No. 8 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 56-52 victory over No. 11 West Orange in the Jarel Lowery Showcase in Paterson.
DePaul led 31-9 at halftime before West Orange outscored them 26-9 in the third quarter. DePaul held a 40-35 lead entering the fourth quarter and held off West Orange in a tightly contested final period.
