Getting off to a quick start and never looking back, Montclair rolled to a 53-29 victory over American History in the Shani Baraka/MLK Classic event at Weequahic High in Newark.
Twelve points apiece by Delilah Levy and Sofia Portelli led all scorers for the Mounties, who are now 5-7 on the season. Montclair, which jumped out to a commanding 15-1 lead after one, also got double-figures from Anna O’Keefe (10 points) in this one.
