Again, I disagree with the notion that Meta's dominance "suffocate" the industry, and therefore their pullback will lead to more competition.
You are not going to see more fish after the artificial coral reef is gone. Yes, it was an artificial one, but still good for the ecosystem.
Both Valve and Sony benefit from Meta's (thus far) heavy investments. Both get more games on their platform as a result. Valve, in particular, even gets cheap headsets and free access to a bigger market.
This is not a reset, just a recess.
