The biggest game in college football is set for Monday at Hard Rock Stadium, and attendees should know everything regarding President Donald Trump’s visit, parking, security and road closures.
The Miami Hurricanes will face off against the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers during the 2026 College Football National Championship.
The president’s visit and security
Officials with the CFP on Saturday said the White confirmed that President Trump will attend Monday night’s game.
Due to the president’s visit, there will be heightened security around the stadium, and CFP is encouraging ticket attendees to arrive early at the stadium rather than when they would usually go.
Once someone arrives, there will be enhanced security screenings by the Secret Service before they enter the stadium’s grounds.
There will be several pre-entry checkpoints at the stadium, and attendees cannot re-enter if their ticket has already been scanned.
Several items are also prohibited when entering the stadium’s ground.
- Aerosols
- Ammunition
- Animals (other than service animals)
- Backpacks and bags that exceed size restrictions
- Ballons
- Bicycles
- Coolers
- Drones
- Explosives
- Firearms
- Flammable liquids
- Laser pointers
- Mace/pepper spray
- Packages
Parking at Hard Rock Stadium
There was some confusion on whether someone who has a parking pass but not a game ticket would be allowed on the stadium’s ground to tailgate.
Officials with CFP on Wednesday sent clarification on enhanced security measures and information on official parking and transportation for Monday’s game
Fans without tickets and who remain in the parking lots after kickoff will be asked to leave by law enforcement, officials said.
Additionally, ticketholders should expect to see multiple checkpoints as they approach Hard Rock Stadium.
Fans’ game tickets will be scanned as they walk from the outer yellow lots to the inner orange lots. A game ticket is required to move between lots during the game.
As of Sunday, stadium parking, including at the express lots, is sold out. Online ticket sellers such as StubHub list parking in some stadium lots for as high as $3,000.
Free shuttles to Hard Rock Stadium
Officials also encouraged ticketholders to be dropped off at or take a rideshare to the stadium express locations and ride a free shuttle to the stadium. Note: Fans will be required to scan their game ticket prior to boarding HRS Express buses.
Those free shuttles will depart from:
- Lot 70 (North): Across the street from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel (5700 S. SR-7, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314)
- Lot 95 (South): Golden Glades Parking Garage (16000 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33169)
Fans are also encouraged to leave the stadium via the express shuttles and then call a rideshare to their final destination.
Uber Shuttle
After the game, Uber Shuttle will run direct routes to Brickell, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami Beach at a flat rate of $25 per person. Seats are limited, so riders are encouraged to book early.
Uber Shuttles depart from the SE Gate at Hard Rock Stadium and will drop off at:
