San Antonio has a lot to look forward to in the new year, especially when it comes to live music. No matter what kind of music you’re into, there are some big names passing through — from legends of classic rock to rap, pop punk, indie, metal and beyond.
Here are some of the biggest shows coming to San Antonio in 2026.
February 28 – Descendents – Aztec Theatre

Sensitive punks and emos rejoice — Descendents are returning to the Alamo City to sing of teenage longing and suburban malaise, though their hair has silvered. Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls join them on this lineup. Tickets start at $58.
March 3 – Heart – Majestic Theatre

The trailblazing and iconic female-fronted hard rock band Heart is about to go crazy on you, San Antonio. Tickets start at $109.
March 12 – Diana Ross – Majestic Theatre

The iconic Diana Ross rose to global prominence as the leader of The Supremes, shattering records with hits like “Where Did Our Love Go,” “Stop! In the Name of Love,” and “You Can’t Hurry Love.” As a solo artist, she continued to deliver timeless classics including “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” Upside Down,” and “I’m Coming Out.” Tickets start at $109.
March 21 – Zach Bryan – Alamodome

Zach Bryan is scheduled to pay another visit to the Alamo City, with support from CAAMP and J.R. Carroll. Tickets start at $63.
March 27 – Snow Tha Product – Aztec Theatre

Rap fans are buzzing about Snow Tha Product right now, thanks to her rapid-fire delivery and bilingual lyrics in tracks like “Never Be Me,” “Sábado” and “Waste of Time.” Tickets start at $45.
March 29 – Santana – Majestic Theatre

Almost a year later, the legendary guitarist is returning to San Antonio in (hopefully) good health this time. This show was rescheduled after the icon collapsed on stage at his April 2025 San Antonio gig due to what was later determined to be COVID. Tickets start at $219.
April 2 – The Growlers – Aztec Theatre

You’re entitled to roll your eyes at the made-up subgenre “beach goth” — or take issue with the controversies surrounding Burger Records — but these guys certainly carved out a niche for themselves as modern hipsters breathing new life into surf rock, and making it ever so slightly darker. Tickets start at $64.
April 5 – Testament – Aztec Theatre

Considered one of the most popular and influential thrash metal bands of all time, Testament will wage war on San Antonio as part of their “Thrash of the Titans” tour. Tickets start at $49.
April 9 & 10 – ZZ Top – Majestic Theatre

Lucky us, the legendary ZZ Top is playing San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre two nights in a row. Fans of Southern-fried boogie rock don’t want to miss this. Tickets start at $84.
April 22 – Bush – Freeman Coliseum

Gavin Rossdale is often considered the “pretty boy of grunge,” but there’s no denying the catchiness of tracks like “Glycerine,” “Comedown,” “Everything Zen” or “Machinehead.” Tickets start at $52.
April 26 – Boys Like Girls – Boeing Center

Fans of pop punk and emo rejoice — TRL darlings Boys Like Girls are on their way, joined by openers iDKHOW and Arrows in Action. Tickets start at $87.
April 29 – Clutch / Corrosion of Conformity – Aztec Theatre

Considered one of the pioneers of modern stoner rock, Clutch are bringing their heavy sound to San Antonio joined by Corrosion of Conformity and J.D. Pinkus, formerly of the Butthole Surfers. Tickets start at $53.
April 30 – Cradle of Filth – Aztec Theatre

English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth is bringing its symphonic sound and theatrical, Gothic imagery to Aztec Theatre, joined by Suffocation, Ghost Bath and Cultus Black. Tickets start at $37.
May 17 – Silversun Pickups – Aztec Theatre

Silversun Pickups is bringing its driving indie and Brian Aubert’s astringent, nasally vocals to Aztec Theatre on its “Tenterhooks” tour. Support provided by Giant Waste of Man. Tickets start at $41.
June 6 – Yellowcard / New Found Glory / Plain White T’s – Freeman Coliseum

Yellowcard stands out from its pop-punk peers of the early aughts with the distinction of featuring a violin prominently in tracks like its mega hit “Ocean Avenue.” They’re joined on the lineup by New Found Glory and Plain White T’s, similarly of-their-time bands that caught lightning in a bottle once or twice. Tickets start at $36.
July 24 – AC/DC – Alamodome

Affectionately known as “Acca Dacca” in their homeland of Australia, this is another legendary band passing through the Alamo City that you won’t want to miss this year. Support is provided by The Pretty Reckless, which is fronted by Taylor Momsen aka Cindy Lou Who. Tickets start at $75.
September 23 – Bruno Mars – Alamodome

Oh, you got plans? Don’t say that. Presale tickets are on sale now. Prices not yet listed.
September 12 – My Chemical Romance, The Mars Volta – Alamodome

When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see an emo band. (Sorry, we had to). The Mars Volta is a formidable opener — that is, if they actually play “The Widow” this time and not all new music. We’re still cranky about that Deftones show. Tickets start at $95.
September 16 – Guns N Roses – Alamodome

Don’t you cry tonight — we know September is a long way out, but all we need is just a little patience. Tickets start at $62.
September 23 & 25 – Rush – Frost Bank Center

Living in the limelight is the universal dream, and Rush has been doing it for over 50 years. This is the band’s reunion tour after 7-year hiatus. Due to popular demand, another date has been added in San Antonio. Tickets start at $73.
Sep 29 – Iron Maiden with Anthrax and Megadeth – Alamodome

I mean, need we say more? This lineup is dynamite, especially for lovers of thrash metal. This is your chance to catch an Iron Maiden set loaded with hits as well as powerhouses Anthrax and Megadeth all in one night. Tickets start at $61.
October 26 – Three Days Grace – Frost Bank Center

The early aughts band known for “I Hate Everything About You” are bringing their accessible hard rock and nu metal to Frost Bank Center with Prevail and The Funeral Portrait. Tickets start at $41.
November 6 – Doja Cat – Frost Bank Center

Doja Cat is a singular artist in pop, with unexpected and edgy references (Max Headroom at the VMAs anyone?), bold fashion choices and catchy, irresistible hooks. Tickets start at $77.
