Pour la onzième année consécutive, les doctorant·es du laboratoire Litt&Arts organisent les 20 et 21 mai 2026 leurs Journées Doctorales, avec comme nouvel axe de recherche : « Territoires en métamorphoses ». Des Métamorphoses d’Ovide à Croire aux Fauves de Nastassja Martin, en passant par La Métamorphose de Franz Kafka ou La Mouche de David Cronenberg, la notion de métamorphose, voisine de celle d’hybridité, ne cesse de réapparaître au fil des siècles tout en traversant les frontières disciplinaires. Mobilisée pour son pouvoir créateur de mythe, en tant qu’opératrice de mutation, lieu rhétorique ou genre littéraire, la métamorphose est définie par son étymologie comme un « changement » de « forme » et engage, d’après Francis Berthelot dans La Métaphore généralisée, tantôt un sujet, un agent, un processus ou un produit[1]. Cela étant, la métamorphose devient dans l’Antiquité et surtout à partir du XVIe siècle un thème artistique et scientifique privilégié[2] pour interroger nos rapports au mouvement et au renouvellement, qui intéressent aussi bien le perpetuum mobile renaissant[3] que l’anticipation et la science-fiction dès le XIXe siècle. That is, until Jennifer Tilly opened up and slammed her co-star. She blamed a Season 14 cast member for Garcelle Beauvais’ hasty exit. During the Season 14 RHOBH reunion, Garcelle walked off the stage and off the show. She was attacked during the reunion, yet no one had her back. This led to Garcelle cutting ties with most of the cast. However, the end of one close friendship shocked fans. And Garcelle made it clear that this relationship was over. When her bestie, Jennifer, interjected to change the subject, Sutton said, “Please stop. Just stop.” Unfortunately, that wasn’t the first time that Sutton had turned on her bestie. Later, Jennifer spoke to Kyle Richards about Sutton’s behavior. “I just want to give her a big pass because everybody knows that she’s fragile. But I do believe that’s one of the reasons why Garcelle left,” Jennifer stated. “Because it’s always all about Sutton. It’s not about anybody else.” After a pause, the actress added, “It’s not all about you, Sutton.” For her part, Kyle was stunned by Jennifer’s comments. “I am so shocked to hear Jennifer talking about Sutton like this,” she noted in a confessional. “I thought that this was one of her best friends.” Welp, Garcelle was once one of Sutton’s besties, too. However, Sutton placed the blame for their friendship ending squarely on the RHOBH alum. “The decision was made by Garcelle. And that’s that,” Sutton previously said. As for Jennifer and Sutton?
