I like Flores, not sure he’s the guy that guarantees the O makes the huge changes they need to play modern nfl offense…but I’m willing to give him a chance….i would say the biggest worry for him taking over…is how well he could manage a young franchise qb…..I’m not sure I trust the Steelers as much with this anymore after the Kenny/mitch failure….so the next hc is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting on their own with that imo.

In reply to WyoBowhunter. If you heard Fitzpatrick this week, that describes Flores to a tee. Dictatorial who alienated his players and coaches as time went. I don't want him anywhere near the team. Telling that he only had one other interview for a HC position while the others are being interviewed by almost every team with an opening.

In a perfect world: I would like to see one of these HC candidates come in for a sit down, bat around some salary figures and then say "okay" but; take 4 mill. He has Seattle's offense playing well, on top of that he has NFL pedigree with his father being a former NFL coach and his brother also currently coaching in the NFL. I've been looking up some of the Vikings defensive stats. Man Flo can coach some defense. It's pretty impressive considering I bet 90% of non Viking fans couldn't name three guys on that defensive unit. They also play in a division that he's facing Williams, Goff, and Love. He might be the strongest candidate when you look strictly at scheme.
