REPORT: Richarlison will be allowed to leave Spurs for €25m this summer
It’s not a transfer rumor, but it is… kind of. According to ESPN Brazil, Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison will be allowed to leave the club for a new challenge for €25m, assuming that Spurs and Richy are able to find a club that is interested in him for that price when the summer transfer window opens. It makes a lot of sense, actually. Richarlison will turn 29 in May, and although he’s currently Spurs’ leading scorer this season, he’s currently out with a hamstring injury for the next couple of months. It also feels like the right decision to let him go if he’s content at another club in order to continue the revamp of the squad going forward. Richarlison’s current Spurs contract goes until summer 2027, so letting him leave for a guaranteed fee would seem to make everyone happy. I like Pombo, quite a lot. He may or may not have quite lived up to my (or others’) expectations when he joined the club for £50m in 2022, but he’s given us plenty of great moments to cheer in his time, and he’s been a quintessential clubhouse guy and COYS to his core. It feels like the right time to let him move on as Spurs continue to transform into a younger, hungrier squad, and of course there’s a lot of time between now and this summer when he’d ostensibly be open to a departure. A lot can happen. But I think this makes sense for everyone involved. No idea where he’d go — he’s been linked with a return to Brazil, but I’m sure there are plenty of clubs that’d be interested in a tall striker who presses like a demon and has a good scoring conversion record.

Trump Signs Executive Order to Stop Wall Street from Buying Single-Family Homes
Newport Buzz Trump Signs Executive Order to Stop Wall Street from Buying Single-Family Homes President Donald J. Trump signed a sweeping executive order Tuesday designed to block Wall Street from muscling Main Street out of the housing market — a move the White House says will put American families back in the driver’s seat when it comes to buying a home. The order targets large institutional investors that have been scooping up single-family homes, often outbidding first-time buyers and young families with deep pockets and all-cash offers. Trump’s directive makes clear: homes are for […] The post Trump Signs Executive Order to Stop Wall Street from Buying Single-Family Homes appeared first on Newport Buzz.
