In reply to DK Smollett. I agree with you about the Raiders. Mendoza, Bowers, Jeanty, they could trade Maxx Crosby for probably a high pick or 1:1 for a stud WR. They have the 2nd highest cap space to spend on the OL which was a huge issue. What if Pickens ends up being not franchise tagged by the Cowboys and he signs with them? Or a tag-and-trade for Maxx Crosby straight up. The Cowboys need a rusher anyways. Seems like a decent option since they have two first round picks in which they could draft a WR opposite CeeDee. I don't trust the Raiders front office based on history, but if you just gave me names of players on a single team then that's a really, really good young core with superstar level players at each skill position.

In reply to Harry-Balls. And we'd get 40 unsportsmanships and 12 ejections per game. I come from the town where Slepshot was filmed, so I guess it would be interesting to watch, but still I'd like to win.

In reply to Grant44. I get all that but the truth is after signing Ben , they had to see if he could could come back. And the way the D looked with Minka ( complete and dominant at times ). It looked like they had finally stabilized the side of the ball that had been crippling them for a few years. Ultimately I believe that was up to the Rooney’s. Moving on was discussed , as Ben fad said a non specific “ they” didnt want me anymore”. Was “they” Tomlin annd Colbert? And Hurts thought Colbert was going to draft him. So talks were had. Unfortunately , the O line aged out about mid season , Ben’s arm did not come all the way back and they brought in the wrong guy to fix the run game. It was just a really terrible time for that injury and really difficult time to move off Ben.
