The Slovenian star recorded another strong double-double against the team that traded him in February, and afterward spoke about how he feels facing Dallas, where he spent more than seven years. “I would say it’s a little bit easier now. But games against Dallas will always have a special meaning for me. I mean, I still have a lot of friends there, so it’s fun, but it’s always special. As I said, it will always be special for me,” Luka said after the game. Dončić now holds a 3-0 record against Dallas, averaging 33.0 points, 9.7 assists, and 9.3 rebounds across three appearances versus his former team.
