Ο 34χρονος Ιταλός, ο οποίος ήδη έχει ξεκινήσει τη γυμναστική, εμφανίστηκε στο εντός έδρας παιχνίδι της Σάσαρι (στην οποία έχει αγωνιστεί στο παρελθόν), με φόρμα της ομάδας, η οποία του πρόσφερε συμβόλαιο, στηρίζοντας τον σε αυτή τη δύσκολη περίοδο της ζωής του.
