In reply to 69 Super Bee. A GM weighed down by Tomlin. You forget that Tomlin was sitting next to him every pick of the draft? Who is charge of developing players? Not Omar. Tomlin chose who he wanted for his assistants and coaches as well. But I guess we will see heading into the future.

In reply to Black and Gold mafia. You very well could be right. And I’ll eagerly be anticipating his scouting report. I just don’t see the physicality or route savvy that separates Drake London from guys like Chase Claypool or Keon Coleman. It’s still early in the process and my opinion is likely subject to change after I watch more of his tape. Just my initial observations.

What about all the BS the Steelers can’t fire coaches. They don’t want to lose the money. Sounds like they are got fired and would have to be rehired. Just like companies do sometimes in a takeover everyone is subject to seeing the door if not rehired. Maybe its a step in a new way to do business.

In reply to JustUs. I was not a Willis fan when he came out but he definitely has been developed well by the GB coaches. They did a nice job with him. Could he be the guy? Maybe. He’s only really done it for a couple games (not his fault there). But he could hurt us in that he may be ‘just good enough’ to win 9 or 10 games only.
