The 3 official charges against Sherrone Moore
Shortly after the Michigan Wolverines fired Sherrone Moore as head football coach, Moore was detained by police. He faces assault and stalking allegations, and now it appears his official charges have finally become public. Reports indicate that the 39-year-old former head coach is being charged with home invasion in the third degree, stalking, and breaking and entering,” according to Nick Schultz of On3 Sports. A home invasion in the third degree is considered a felony charge. “After news broke of his detainment by police in Washtenaw County, Mich., the charges against former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore have been revealed. Moore has been charged with home invasion in the third degree, stalking, and breaking and entering.” Not only does Sherrone Moore face a felony charge that is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $2,000 fine, but he also faces a misdemeanor stalking charge, which can be up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. His breaking and entering charge is also considered a misdemeanor, and he faces up to 90 days in jail, along with a $500 fine. Sherrone Moore had an arraignment hearing scheduled on Friday at 1 p.m. EST in 14A District Court. Reports indicate that Moore was informed he is no longer to use alcohol or marijuana, or any other kind of substanence that is not prescribed to him, per Nicole Auerbach of NBC Sports. He is also to wear a GPS tracker, go to mental health treatment, and is not allowed to be in contact with the alleged woman. “The magistrate tells Sherrone Moore he is not to use alcohol, marijuana or any other substance that’s not prescribed to him when out on bond. He must wear a GPS tether, continue all mental health treatment, and have no contact with the woman.” With everything going on with Moore, the Michigan football program is conducting a search for a new head coach. Until then, Biff Poggi is filling in as the interim. The post The 3 official charges against Sherrone Moore appeared first on ClutchPoints.

Death Stranding 2 Wins 0 of 7 Nominations At The Game Awards
Death Stranding 2 received seven Nominations at The Game Awards in 2025 (TGA 2025), but failed to win a single award throughout the night. Despite the game’s favorable reviews and Hideo Kojima’s popularity in the industry, it wasn’t enough for the game to bring anything home. But what awards did it miss out on, and what does it really mean for the game? Death Stranding 2 Didn’t Win A Single Awards At The Game Awards 2025 (TGA 2025) The countdown to #TheGameAwards is on, first up @GameSpot's Breakdown of The Game Awards preceding the main show at 2:30pm PT on Gamespot's YouTube channel https://t.co/o10EHbzTzY pic.twitter.com/SRRHy6yo8u — The Game Awards (@thegameawards) December 11, 2025 Death Stranding 2 received nominations for the following awards at TGA 2025: Award Lost To Game of The Year Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Best Game Direction Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Best Narrative Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Best Art Direction Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Best Score & Music Lorien Testard (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33) Best Audio Design Battlefield 6 Best Action/Adventure Hollow Knight: Silksong Why Death Stranding 2 Didn’t Win Game of The Year – TGA 2025 There are several reasons as to why Death Stranding 2 may not have won Game of The Year at TGA 2025. The biggest reason is that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 just caught the world by storm. It reportedly sold over 5 million units just six months after launch while receiving critical acclaim from critics and the public. It currently holds a 92 Metacritic score across 84 reviews. These factors played a big role in helping the game beat DS2 in five different categories. Furthermore, Death Stranding 2 is a different kind of game like the others that were nominated for GOTY. Clair Obscur is a turn-based RPG that entices fans of the genre with its narrative, gameplay, level design, and more. DS2, on the other hand, is an open world game that revolves around delivering packages. Of course, the game is a bit more complex than that, and with its online features, you can help other players across the world. There’s also combat, vehicles you can drive, and a lot more despite its seemingly simple objective. But despite these features, there are going to be many who just see it as a “walking simulator”. Not winning an award at TGA is not indicative of anything bad on Death Stranding 2’s part. The game received favorable reviews at launch (with an 89 metacritic score across 147 reviews) and reportedly sold over a million copies just weeks after its launch. Death Stranding 2 isn’t the only game to have this kind of night. In fact, Spider-Man 2 suffered a similar fate just two years ago. Insomniac’s S5 exclusive never won a single award despite its seven nominations. For more gaming news, visit ClutchPoints. Royals agree to 5-year contract extension with Maikel Garcia
The Kansas City Royals and third baseman Maikel Garcia are in agreement on a five-year contract extension, Jeff Passan of ESPN reports. The deal reportedly includes a sixth-year club option. It has yet to be announced how much money the contract will pay Garcia. “BREAKING: Third baseman Maikel Garcia and the Kansas City Royals are finalizing a five-year contract extension with a club option for a sixth year, sources tell ESPN. Garcia, 25, won a Gold Glove this year and will remain alongside Bobby Witt Jr. on the left side of the infield,” Passan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. The Royals want to build a contending ball club around shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. Cementing their left side of the infield with Witt and Garcia for years to come could be a great move. Kansas City’s roster still has room to improve, but the Royals now have their third baseman of the future. Witt signed an 11-year contract extension worth over $288 million before the 2024 season. He does have multiple opt-outs beginning in 2031, but he’s clearly the franchise player. Part of building a contender means developing a strong core. Garcia is clearly part of the Royals core of players. Garcia, 25, enjoyed a tremendous 2025 campaign — his third full season in the big leagues. He was selected to the first All-Star team of his career and also won a Gold Glove and finished 14th in American League MVP voting. Garcia ultimately recorded a .286/.351/.449 slash line to go along with 16 home runs, 39 doubles, 23 stolen bases and an overall .800 OPS. He hits the ball at a consistent level, can run the bases well, and takes care of business at the hot corner. There’s a lot to like about Garcia’s game, and now he’s being rewarded with a contract extension. Next move Braves must make after adding Robert Suarez
The Atlanta Braves recently signed Robert Suarez to a three-year, $45 million contract in a move to give their bullpen a boost. Raisel Iglesias is expected to close with Suarez working in a setup/backup closer role. Signing Suarez projects to be a quality move, strengthening the Braves’ bullpen without question. Overall, the ball club still has uncertainty on the roster, though. Pitching has been a need for the team. In fact, new Braves manager Walt Weiss even acknowledged the pitching necessity during the MLB Winter Meetings. “Pitching is near and dear to my heart, especially after my last experience,” Weiss said during the Winter Meetings. “So I always, I’m always looking at that side of things. And truth be told, our position players, it’s pretty set. So it’s a little bit more difficult to create some fits there. Now, you can do it with some trades and you can be creative and make some things work, but a lot easier on the pitching side as we sit here today to add. “We all know Alex (Anthopoulos). Alex is just relentless in his pursuit of improving the roster. So he never stops. He never stops trying to do that. I’m sure he’s doing it as we speak.” With the Braves already addressing the bullpen, starting pitching has emerged as their most obvious area of need. Spencer Strider and Chris Sale can lead the rotation, but there is overall uncertainty. Strider even endured inconsistency last season. Reynaldo Lopez is a quality veteran white Spencer Schwellenbach and Hurston Waldrep can make an impact. Still, bringing in a proven starting pitcher should be a priority for the Braves. Braves should add a starter — but who? There are a number of starters still available in MLB free agency who could realistically provide a positive impact for the Braves. The team could also look to make an addition via a trade. There is one specific pitcher who — if Atlanta were to sign him — would both help the Braves while also dealing a blow to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves should pursue Ranger Suarez in free agency. Suarez, 30, is a left-handed starter who has spent his entire career in Philadelphia with the Phillies. He’s emerged as one of the better pitchers in the sport in recent seasons, earning an All-Star selection in 2024. Although he was not an All-Star in 2025, Suarez still pitched to a 3.20 ERA across 157.1 innings pitched. The Phillies are the best team in the National League East at the moment. It appears that the Washington Nationals are continuing to rebuild as MacKenzie Gore trade rumors continue to swirl. It’s tough to pinpoint exactly what the Miami Marlins’ plan is, but they are not going to be a legitimate contender anytime soon. The New York Mets’ offseason has been a disappointment, as they have lost both Edwin Diaz and Pete Alonso in free agency. In other words, the Braves can easily step up as the second best team in the division following their lackluster 2025 campaign. Catching the Phillies won’t be a simple task, but signing Suarez would be a tremendous move given the circumstances. He’d help Atlanta while Philadelphia would lose a star pitcher to a division rival. The post Next move Braves must make after adding Robert Suarez appeared first on ClutchPoints.
