First round quarterbacks only hit 30% of the time as so called “franchise quarterbacks.” Funny how everyone expects a 1st rounder to be a franchise guy (I.e. Pickett). It just doesn’t happen. Better to have someone develop the talent you have to get the most out of them. So pick an appropriate coach.

MALIK WILLIS....I'm going to keep screaming it until someone listens! He's a very young 26 years old and doesn't have a lot road miles on his body. While he might cost a decent amount let's say, two years 50 million, that doesn't make him a long term commitment. It gives you an out in 2027 should you want to go a different route. He's a better version of Justin Fields. How much better is the question. Malik the perfect attempt to find your guy, but also not throw all you eggs in one basket.
