Comment on Gibson guitars are on the brink of bankruptcy by David grist
there is a lot of nonsense talked abiut gibson quality control today.truth be told..it was NEVER that great.but it’s certainly not atrocious..as one comment suggests. the problem is that a lot of foreign brands are equally well made..ir better..and for less money.i biught a lot if the 2015 range by Gibson..and there’s NOTHING wrong with them..aoart from the aesthetics i.e. stuoid headstock script and les paul waving via daft hologram..ridiculous idea..whie we thiught of those 2 ideas needs to grow up and get a life. a gibson for a GRAND? where’s that then?

“If you want to help save Gibson, there’s just one thing you need to do. Go and buy a guitar and start a band.” Of course; I just need a thounsand pounds to buy one of their guitars. The problem you have, even at the custom shop end, the QC is atrocious.
