The DC national guard shooting suspect was working directly with a government agency as a partner
The suspected shooter involved in the horrific ambush of two National Guard members in Washington, D.C. this week was actually working directly with CIA-backed military units during the war in Afghanistan, according to The Guardian. This is a massive revelation, and honestly, it raises some serious questions about vetting procedures when bringing people into the country. The alleged gunman, identified as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, came to the United States in September 2021. He gained entry under the Operation Allies Welcome program, which was designed to give visas to Afghans who had worked for the US government. The Central Intelligence Agency director, John Ratcliffe, confirmed Lakanwal’s ties to the agency to media outlets on Wednesday evening. Ratcliffe explained that the Biden administration had justified bringing the alleged shooter to the US specifically because of his prior involvement with the US government, including the CIA. He said that Lakanwal’s participation with the agency was “as a member of a partner force in Kandahar, which ended shortly following the chaotic evacuation.” Lakanwal had worked for several US government agencies, including a CIA-backed unit operating in the Taliban stronghold of Kandahar province. The same place they had to stop influencers from lying about. Government ties for the shooter spells trouble While the investigation into the suspect’s motives is just beginning, the details of the attack are absolutely tragic. The two wounded guards, 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom and 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe, are both members of the West Virginia National Guard. They are currently listed in critical condition after being ambushed at a bus stop. What makes this even more unbelievable is that they had only been sworn into service less than 24 hours before the attack happened. US Attorney for Washington DC, Jeanine Pirro, held a news conference on Thursday where she laid out the details of the assault. Lakanwal allegedly used a .357 Smith & Wesson revolver, shooting one guard member twice before firing at the second. Pirro stressed that the guards “put their lives on the line to protect people they don’t even know.” Thankfully, other National Guard members at the scene were able to engage the suspect and neutralize him. He is currently under arrest and receiving treatment at a hospital. Shooter of those National Guard soldiers was a CIA trained Afghan man? Ah, beautiful blowback. pic.twitter.com/PSTaLV5qQw— Isaiah (@Bboy_Izilla) November 27, 2025 This wasn’t a random incident, either. Pirro stated that the suspect drove across the country from his home in Bellingham, Washington, with a plan to conduct what she called a “brazen and targeted” assault. Lakanwal will be charged with three counts of assault with intent to kill while armed and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence. Pirro noted that if Beckstrom or Wolfe does not survive, those charges could be increased to murder in the first degree. The investigation is being treated with the utmost seriousness, as FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed at the news conference that the agency is investigating the shooting as an act of terrorism. Patel stated, “This is a coast-to-coast investigation,” confirming that law enforcement has already executed search warrants at Lakanwal’s home in Washington and in San Diego, California. Patel also confirmed the suspect’s previous relationship with US forces in Afghanistan, which is already getting headlines due to the US being friendly with the Taliban. Following the shooting, President Trump ordered 500 additional National…

Tucker Carlson shows how childish he is by using offensive slur in attempt to prove to Piers Morgan the UK doesn’t have free speech
Tucker Carlson isn’t exactly the most politically correct person out there but hearing him repeat a homosexual slur during an interview with Piers Morgan is pretty low even for him. The former Fox News host engaged in a debate with the controversial British journalist and in this situation we have to side with Piers on this one. The pair discussed the state of free speech in the U.K. and during a particularly surprising moment Carlson dropped the F-slur. “Would you say the word ‘f****t’ on camera?” he asked Morgan. The moment came after Carlson brought up a case in the U.K. in which a woman was charged with malicious communications offences after she referred to a person who assaulted her as a “f****t” over text to a former friend as per the Daily Mail. Carlson used this case to prove his point that the U.K. doesn’t have free speech. While Morgan admitted he wasn’t familiar with the case he refuted Carlson’s assertion that the U.K. doesn’t allow free speech. Carlson then asked him if he would say the slur to which Morgan refused before asking Carlson if he would. The American political commentator responded, “I just did,” before repeatedly saying the slur several times with a smile on his face. This doesn’t prove Tucker Carlson’s point While he may act like this was a gotcha moment, Piers doesn’t stoop to his level, refusing to say it, “You don’t wanna get arrested, do ya?” Carlson taunts, but Morgan maintains “I’m allowed to, I just choose not to.” NEW: Tucker Carlson tries getting Piers Morgan to prove he has free speech in the U.K.Tucker: Would you say the word faggot on camera?Morgan: No.Tucker: You don't wanna get arrested, do ya?… Morgan: Would you use that word?Tucker: Faggot? I just did. Faggot, faggot,… pic.twitter.com/GV7zqfOxvx— Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) November 27, 2025 It’s important to distinguish between free speech and responsible speech. You don’t need to blurt out every slur under the sun just because you can. Many on X expressed disappointment in Carlson’s approach to the topic, “This is the level of discourse we have reached?!” Asked one exasperated viewer. Of course, some did agree with Carlson, “In America we can say whatever we want even if it offends someone.” One person claimed, “In Britain the same word gets you questioned by police and possibly arrested.” “Free speech debates are always intense. Is proving free speech more important than avoiding hate speech?” asked another. In the end, Piers refusing to say the word doesn’t prove that he can’t say it, all it proves is that he doesn’t want to say a word that may cause offense, which is a pretty normal response. Meanwhile Tucker Carlson is happy to shout it from the rooftops it seems. But then again, Morgan has used this exact tactic in the past when he dared a trad-wife to say the N-word so maybe we shouldn’t be singing his praises too much.

TWRA Begins 2025-2026 Winter Trout Stocking Program
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has begun its 2025-26 winter rainbow trout stocking schedule, which provides numerous close-to-home trout fishing opportunities for anglers during the winter months. The TWRA will release more than 70,000 trout throughout the winter stocking program, including in selected tailwaters and reservoirs and other community locations. There are more than 40 locations for this year’s winter trout stocking program. New locations this year include Mossy Creek in Jefferson County and the Covington First Baptist Church pond in Tipton County. Many of the stocking locations are in urban areas and include walking trails, playgrounds, and pavilions, making them the perfect place to take the family, introduce children to fishing or for brand new anglers. The list of locations and stocking dates can be found on TWRA’s website, www.tnwildlife.org. The stocked trout will average about 10 inches in length. The daily creel limit is seven, except for a limit of five in the locations of the Community Lakes Fishing Program. These locations include Cameron Brown Lake in Germantown, Cedar Hill Park Pond in Madison, Camp Jordan in East Ridge, Pistol Creek/Green Belt Lake in Maryville, and Fountain City Lake in Knoxville. There is no size limit, and anglers are reminded that a trout license is needed in addition to the fishing license. Please note that the dates and locations are subject to change. Updates can be found on TWRA’s website. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is responsible for protecting, managing, and conserving fish and wildlife species for the benefit of Tennesseans and visitors. The Agency also maintains public safety through law enforcement and safety education on waterways.
