Comment on Steelers Head Coach Candidate Brian Flores Signs Contract Extension With Vikings by Dennis Wright
The Steelers were the only team that was EVER going to give him a shot as a head coach again. You'd have to imagine that they were honest with him about his chances because it didn't appear the Vikings had a problem waiting another week or so. People bring up Flores' stint in Miami and how that ended but the lawsuit is a MUCH bigger deal than that. Outside of the Rooney's there's not a lot of owners that are willing to look past that. Flores also ratted out Stephen Ross on top of it for tampering with Tom Brady and for exposing the tanking with evidence in the lawsuit. They lost a first round pick over it. Right or wrong not too many owners are putting that guy out as the face of their franchise. That's not even saying anything about his dealings with staff and players. Both QB's that played for him OPENLY aired him out in the media.

Guess that interview didn't go as well lol. It will be interesting to see if it gets reported that the Steelers had talks about him being the DC instead of being a head coach.
