NFL Star Makes Bold Take On TreVeyon Henderson’s Future
New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson made a strong impression over the past four games. His former college teammate, New Orleans Saints receiver Chris Olave, believes that Henderson is on track for a bright future in the NFL. “Henderson is going to tear the NFL up,” Olave said on Friday during “Up & Adams”. Olave and Henderson played together at Ohio State in 2021, with Olave being a senior and Henderson a freshman. However, Henderson wasn’t your typical college freshman, as he made an impact by appearing in 13 games, rushing for 1,248 yards and scoring 15 touchdowns. Henderson successfully translated his college performance into an NFL career. During “Thursday Night Football” against the New York Jets, he carried the ball 19 times for 62 yards and scored two touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown pass. The 23-year-old running back is making New England’s offense difficult to stop, especially with quarterback Drake Maye’s impressive performance. New England needed to bolster its running game, and Henderson appears to be the player who could step up as the starting running back, potentially igniting a deep playoff run this season. How Red Sox Free Agent Feels About Receiving World Series Ring
The Boston Red Sox fell short of a championship, but one player who completed the 2025 season with the organization will get a World Series ring. Boston acquired Dustin May from the Los Angeles Dodgers in a midseason trade, so the starting pitcher will receive a ring after the Dodgers won their second straight championship. That situation evoked mixed emotions in the 28-year-old. Speaking at Thursday’s MLB Awards red-carpet event, per MassLive’s Christopher Smith, May called it “fun to watch” his old team win it all. Yet he still wishes he could have participated in a Red Sox title run instead. “I was more sad that they (Red Sox) lost than I was more happy that they (Dodgers) won,” May said. May didn’t make a major impact in Boston, posting a 5.40 ERA in 28 1/3 innings. The right-hander moved to the bullpen before an elbow injury ended his season in early September, but May said he could have returned had the Red Sox advanced to the American League Division Series. “It was definitely a huge letdown,” May said. “But the guys were great to be around. I was super happy to be able to join that group. I didn’t really contribute the way that I felt like I could have, but it was a very, very fun group.” Although May wasn’t with the Dodgers in October, he tallied a 4.85 ERA in 104 innings before the trade. He notched a career 3.71 ERA with the Dodgers since arriving in 2019, but injuries severely limited his workload and held him out of last year’s World Series run. Bittersweet feelings aside, May remains grateful to receive a World Series ring as he enters free agency. “Those are things that you can never take away from somebody,” he said. “I wasn’t in the playoffs with them, but I played with them for four and a half months or however long it was. So I definitely helped and contributed for them to get there.” More MLB: David Ortiz Gets Brutally Honest On Red Sox’s Rafael Devers Trade
