San Jose mayor considers running for California governor
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan is considering entering the race for California governor. Several prominent Democrats like Congressman Eric Swalwell and former Congresswoman Katie Porter, as well as Republicans like Steve Hilton, are the amongst the candidates to be the state’s governor. The deadline for Mahan, or anyone else to apply, is March 6. NBC Bay Area sat down with Mahan to talk about his possible candidacy. Watch the full interview in the video player above.

In reply to KnickerbockerAl. Just fr the record, "Time Is On My Side" is not completely a Rolling Stones song, though they're most noted for it. It was written by Jerry Ragovoy (using the pseudonym "Norman Meade"). First recorded by jazz trombonist Kai Winding and his orchestra in 1963, it was covered (with additional lyrics by Jimmy Norman) by both soul singer Irma Thomas and later the Rolling Stones in 1964.
