NBA Analyst Breaks Down the Critical Thinking Beyond Nikola Jokic’s MVP Numbers
Nikola Jokic is so good at basketball, that we as a society have stopped fully appreciating him. Just two nights ago, he dropped a casual 55 points in 34 minutes on the hapless Clippers, and nobody batted an eye. Jokic is currently leading the league in both assists and rebounds. His Nuggets are 9-2 and might be the only hope of dethroning the seemingly unstoppable Thunder. Hell, he almost did it last year, taking OKC to seven games despite having much less help on the roster than he has now. Maybe people just check box scores or see a highlight or two and don’t watch the games themselves. That would be a mistake, because then they’d be missing out on a true artist at work. Jokic isn’t the most impressive athlete in the league. He can’t run the fastest or jump the highest. But his mental game is so advanced that it has to be seen, if not for us mere mortals to be understood, then at least to be appreciated. Rob Perez of SiriusXM NBA Radio’s Give and Go show pointed out one small thing Jokic does that proves he’s on another level. “He also has one of, if not, the best basketball minds.”@WorldWideWob talks about the level of skill Nikola Jokić plays with on the court and his physical and mental presence. Besides, he’s also translated his absurd basketball IQ into action on the court that makes him unlike anyone else we’ve ever seen. Kendrick Perkins said recently that Jokic “makes Olajuwon’s great games look like regular games.” Perk is prone to hyperbole now and then, but he’s absolutely right. Hakeem Olajuwon is one of the most revered big men of all-time, and more often than not, Jokic does in one half what it took Hakeem four quarters to accomplish. Nikola Jokic is the best player in the NBA Jokic missed out on winning his fourth MVP award last year to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Without a doubt, SGA had an incredible season in his own right, but one would have to wonder how much voter fatigue went into him winning the award over the do-everything Serbian big man. Despite the runner-up finish, Jokic received 19 out of 20 first-place votes in ESPN’s offseason poll of NBA coaches that asked who was the best player in the league. Luka Doncic received the only other vote, with SGA getting none despite his historic season. Stan van Gundy heaped praise on Jokic just before the season started, saying, “He’s certainly the best in the game right now” while also stating, “But the way I look at it is this: If you threw every NBA player into the draft right now, all 30 NBA franchises would make Jokic the first pick. He’s that good.” Tomorrow night, Jokic and the Nuggets will go against four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert and the Wolves. Spoiler alert: even the Stifle Tower won’t be able to slow him down. The post NBA Analyst Breaks Down the Critical Thinking Beyond Nikola Jokic’s MVP Numbers appeared first on The SportsRush.

Kayla Nicole Accused Of Using ChatGPT To Apologise For Her Old Hateful Tweets
Kayla Nicole hasn’t caught a break in a long time. But this time, the backlash has arrived before the previous controversy had even cooled. Just when the internet stopped talking about her alleged diss towards Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift through her Toni Braxton-inspired Halloween video, Nicole’s collection of old, hateful tweets has resurfaced and spread across X like wildfire. The posts, shared between 2010 and 2014, were jarring in their language, to say the least. Screenshots showed Nicole using homophobic slurs, calling Asian people “rude as f***,” mocking people from Mexico and India, and even tweeting, “I can hear this Indian girl praying/chanting through the walls… imma let her know that Buddha isn’t real. smh.” Another resurfaced tweet read: “#whenwasitsokay to say the most HOMO things and think that jus cause you say ‘no homo’ you not a f**??!??!” Kayla Nicole outed as a racist? Since then, Kayla has deleted her account from the platform and issued a formal apology on her Instagram Stories. “I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for the hurtful tweets I posted so many years ago… Reading them now, I’m ashamed that I ever thought or spoke that way. They were ignorant, hurtful and completely wrong,” she wrote. Kayla Nicole then added that “the woman I am today would never use those words,” and emphasized that her current values “are completely rooted in empathy, love, and respect.” But when it rains, it pours. As it turned out, the apology itself instantly became another controversy, as right after, X users — particularly Swifties, started circulating screenshots of her statement run through AI-detection software. The results labeled it “100% AI/GPT.” “ChatGPT apologizes.” @people it’s all bs pic.twitter.com/CQZ1p39VN6 — Lola Eras Tour Lyon N1 Indy N2 (@jcrowe113) November 13, 2025 Reacting to it, one user wrote. “So much for journalism major huh,” another added, referencing her Pepperdine broadcast journalism degree. One fan summarized the sentiment, stating, “The apology we never wanted … and it’s 100% AI generated!” The rest, meanwhile, called out the fact that she posted the apology on Stories, not her main page, allowing it to disappear in 24 hours. Another noted, “GPT was @ past tweets only, not recent behavior.” 1.GPT apology from a journalism major. 2.Posts it on her IG stories and not main page so it will disappear. 3.Drops it on the announced day of the new sneak peak of the upcoming 6 part Eras tour series. Same time as merch drop. 4.GPT was@ past tweets only not recent behavior. — karen ward (@karenwardks) November 13, 2025 For Nicole, who has nearly a million followers, runs the wellness brand Tribe Therepe, and hosts a podcast, this was meant to be a moment of accountability. Instead, the way the apology was delivered has sadly become its own controversy. Now whether her statement was AI-generated or simply read like it, we don’t know yet. But safe to say, Kayla Nicole ought to be catch up with the times, especially when accountability is demanded for any and all forms of bigotry. “It’s Forever in the Family”: Joey Logano Shows off One of His Most Prized Possessions
NASCAR drivers have some of the most impressive private car collections in the world. Team Penske’s Joey Logano, a three-time Cup Series champion, boasts a garage filled with multiple iconic makes and models. Nestled among them are five unique Fords that he takes special pride in. Logano considers one of those Fords a crown jewel above every other machine he owns. The is a 2017 Ford GT with the No. 22 number etched on it. It is the 22nd car ever made in the model. And the car is extra special for Logano since he drives the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the Cup Series. “This one is a forever car. I am not getting rid of it ever. This one is forever in the family. What is really neat to me about the car is its aerodynamics,” said Logano. “It’s funny. If you buy one of these really cool cars, the first time you get to drive it is after you have bought it. You’re so excited to see it. And the first thing you want to do is drive it and see what it has got. I have never owned a sports car quite like this,” he added. The GT’s low centre of gravity and tight steering are a lot like the Next Gen car he drives on Sundays. That possibly explains why Logano loves it so much. The story of how Logano got the GT Ford is fascinating in itself. It has a questionnaire that potential buyers must fill out with queries such as what they intend to do with the car and what their biggest achievement with Ford is. To answer the achievement question, Logano simply attached a picture of him winning the Daytona 500. Logano narrated this while giving out his iconic smile and appeared immensely proud of himself. However, the GT is not the only impressive car in his garage. The four other Fords he considers his most prized possessions are a Ford Mustang Mach 1, a 1961 Ford Econoline, a Ford Model T, and a Factory Five Kit Truck. The Mach 1 is an exquisite piece of machinery. It is a 1971 Ford Mustang that Logano has customized to fit his liking. And he calls it the Mach 22. “It’s absolutely incredible. This thing’s got a supercharged Coyote in it. I don’t know. It’s making like 800 horsepower. It sounds incredible,” he described with absolute pleasure. Be it Mustang or Econoline, it is evident that Logano’s enthusiasm for each vehicle he owns remains the same.
