I grew up with a fair number of folks from Dormont--some attended Keystone Oaks H.S., too. I'm a Pitt alum as mentioned above, and no, I'd not be broken up if the University decided to eliminate football. Think of the field at Acrisure... Hockey doesn't quite take up the same space as football, I'd assay. May not cost quite as much to build a practice facility for a NHL team as a NFL team. Analogies can be fraught with peril. Sticks and stones, Go Steelers. But then... why not Robinson Township, for a Steelers practice facility? If money is no object, and the appropriate folk that would be involved be willing to put up with ungodly traffic?
