Kevin Dotson's play improved greatly with the Rams as they moved to a majority of gap/power schemes and away from outside zone blocking as well as to RG, where he played in college... but Kevin Dotson is not an All-Pro. Dotson has played well the past three seasons, certainly. Drafting is not an exact science, yes. Ask Brandon Beane in Buffalo.

If Tomlin were really cool, he would coach just to help the Steelers get draft picks. That is what a nice person would do.

In reply to Jason W. Exact numbers are not available, but I kept bugging my Microsoft assistant for their best estimate. Fact: Tomlin was in the top 5 highest. Estimate: Steelers rank as about the 8th lowest-paying team. Estimate: Excluding Tomlin, Steelers coaches make about 3/4 the amount of the higher-paying teams. So, yes, Rooney is cheap. But it's not super bad. Nobody makes twice as much.
