Lions vs. Eagles ‘Sunday Night Football’ live discussion: Another big NFC clash
The Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles were the two best teams in the NFC last season and they’re among the best teams in the conference this year. Detroit comes in at 6-3 off the back of a thorough beatdown of the Washington Commanders, while the Super Bowl champion Eagles won a barely watchable 10-7 slog over the Green Bay Packers. At 7-2, Philadelphia’s point differential is only +26, so they’ve been winning close all year. The Lions offense hasn’t been as crisp as in recent seasons, yet they still entered Week 11 as the highest scoring team in the NFC. The Seattle Seahawks play neither of these teams in the regular season, but should Seattle reach the postseason as expected, it’s very likely the ‘Hawks will play one of these two teams. In the context of the playoff race, we might prefer a Lions win just so the Eagles have an additional conference loss. NBC/Peacock have you covered at 5:20 pm PT! Enjoy the game!

Seahawks-Rams score: Sam Darnold throws away Seattle’s NFC West lead
The nightmare continues for Sam Darnold against the Los Angeles Rams. Last season with the Minnesota Vikings, Darnold had two losses to the Rams, including a nightmare performance in the playoffs that ended his Vikings tenure. As quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks (7-3), he had a disaster of all disasters, throwing four mostly brutal interceptions in a 21-19 loss. The Rams (8-2) are now atop the division with the tiebreaker after jumping out to an early 14-3 lead and hanging on for dear life at the end. Darnold not only made several back-breaking mistakes, the red zone offense was not clicking for the Seahawks. Five trips resulted in four field goals and Kenneth Walker’s fourth quarter touchdown. The defense played well; two of the three touchdowns allowed were on drives that went a combined 28 yards. It’s a game that is almost entirely on the failures of the offense, and more specifically Darnold. As brilliantly as Darnold has played all year, he was a mess against the Rams again, and the turnovers he’s committing are now high volume. To top it all off, standout rookie left guard Grey Zabel and linebacker Tyrice Knight both left the game with injuries. Zabel’s knee injury might be serious, whereas Knight left early in the first quarter with a concussion on special teams. Damn. This stings. 1st Half The Rams started on offense and got a gift from the officials right away. Devon Witherspoon was flagged for a ridiculous personal foul penalty when tackling Rams receiver Xavier Smith, who made a catch and was deemed to have given himself up. He was clearly getting up to try and gain more yards, but the refs gave the Rams a free 15 yards. A huge run by Kyren Williams set up LA in the red zone, and after a brilliant tackle by Nick Emmanwori to set up 4th and inches, the Seahawks defense denied Matthew Stafford on 4th down for a turnover on downs! A misfire to Rashid Shaheed followed by a “touchdown” to Cooper Kupp that hit the ground and bounced into his arms. Kupp got up and scored but it was obviously incomplete. The end result was a Jason Myers 57-yard field goal to make it 7-3. Like clockwork, the Rams gashed the Seahawks with screens and short passes, and worryingly the run defense was showing cracks. Kyren Williams burst through on 4th and 1 for 34 yards all the way toward the 1-yard line. Matthew Stafford found Davante Adams for his 1,000th career catch and 10th touchdown of the season. Riq Woolen had no chance on the slant. 14-3 Rams. An incomplete fade route to JSN followed by a throwaway on third down by Darnold meant a 30-yard field goal attempt for Jason Myers, which was right down the middle. 14-6 Rams. A Rams three-and-out ensued after a tackle for loss by DeMarcus Lawrence and a pressure on third down that forced an off-target Stafford throw. Seattle was backed up deep in its own…

NFC Playoff Picture: Seattle Seahawks fall from top of NFC West with loss

Grey Zabel out, Christian Haynes in for Seahawks final drive
The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams are battling with first place in the NFC West on the line. The Rams cling to a 21-19 lead, but the Seahawks have the ball back at their own one yard line with a timeout and needing just a field goal to win a game in which Sam Darnold has thrown four interceptions. However, with the game on the line, the Seahawks are without their starting left guard, 2025 first round pick Grey Zabel. Zabel went down and appeared to be in significant pain after getting rolled up on during the Ken Walker touchdown run. With Zabel out of the game, 2024 third round pick Christian Haynes, who just came off injured reserve Saturday is in at left guard. Christian Haynes playing left guard in place of Zabel.— Bob Condotta (@bcondotta) November 17, 2025 There will be no shortage of fans and observers looking for updates on Zabel and his status after the game, but given how gingerly he walked off the field and into the blue medical tent, bad news won’t be much of a surprise.

Seahawks vs. Rams 2nd half live discussion: Seattle pulls within 5 at halftime
The Seattle Seahawks started off with an early 14-3 hole against the Los Angeles Rams. An early Sam Darnold interception set up the Rams with a short field and a Kyren Williams 4th and goal touchdown. Once again the Seahawks defense was put right back in their own red zone after stopping the opposition on the previous possession. After a Seattle field goal, the Rams gashed the Seahawks on the ground and capped it off with a Matthew Stafford slant to Davante Adams for another TD. Seattle shut the Rams out in the second quarter with two long field goal drives, but two long field goal drives in the red zone. Consider those missed opportunities to even take the lead, but the Rams only had one possession in that quarter and went three-and-out. It’s 14-9 Rams at the break and the Seahawks get the ball to start the 2nd half. Breathe easy. SEA!! Head to the comments section to join the conversation! Don’t be shy!
