In reply to James Cowan. Approximately three-yr., $50MM. More than a heart surgeon's yearly salary, no doubt.

This is what I've been trying to tell people. At the end of the day HCs want to win SBs, but they also (maybe even more importantly) want stability and the prospect of a long term job. Personally I don't think Lamar or Josh Allen will ever win a SB. They both have a long history of falling flat on their faces and making mistakes in the biggest games. Some guys are gamers in the regular season, but fold when the pressure is on in the playoffs. Lamar and Josh are win now prospects. What happens when they don't win, who will be in line to follow them? That's what any of these coaches that are "up and coming" should be thinking about. The Steelers and AR2 are patient to a fault. If I'm a HC candidate the Steelers job is #1.

In reply to Nolrog. Glad to read that you consider our fans "no better than" Browns fans, Titans fans, Raiders fans, et. al. You know, those teams that are always at the top of every round. WE SHOULD HAVE BETTER FANS. THAT'S MY POINT.

In reply to Cowpow. Call aside, when the "franchise QB" turns the ball over four times, one a really dumb fumble... coaches are easier to move on from players, though. Even if the move isn't all that bright. Doing something to show he's doing something...
