Hogs Head to Tulsa for MLK Day Match
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team (5-0) heads back on the road on Monday, Jan. 19 for a match against Tulsa at 6 p.m. at Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Arkansas and Tulsa previously matched up last season, as the Golden Hurricane earned a 4-3 victory in Fayetteville. This is the beginning of a three-match road stand for the team. This weekend, the Razorbacks swept their home opening doubleheader over FGCU, 4-0, and Oral Roberts, 4-0. Gabriel Elicha Navas went 2-0 in singles while the squad continues its impressive start to the season, only losing one point thus far in the match against UTRGV. Tulsa is off to a 2-0 start, beating Florida Gulf Coast twice in a doubleheader on Friday, Jan. 17. The Golden Hurricane are led by Nikita Volonski and Timothy Carlsson Seger, playing No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively. The tandem of No. 38 Komagata/Thomas Doig lead their doubles lineup. The Hogs will look to become 5-0 for the first time since 2023 and the 10th time in program history. Video links for the match are available on the men’s tennis schedule page.
