Stallone and Schwarzenegger can do it because they are part of a team and they acknowledge their age and limitations. Jackie Chan is superhuman. Tom Cruise just doesn't do it. Maybe if he were Superman or a mutant it would make sense, but not someone without powers. Geriatric Batman is a threat I don't want to deal with.
