Fans all made the same joke about the first photos Lane Kiffin shared from LSU
Sep 18, 2021; Oxford, Mississippi, USA; Mississippi Rebels head coach Lane Kiffen at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports Lane Kiffin has announced his arrival at LSU, and many fans made the same joke after the coach shared some photos from his new place of work. Kiffin was named the new head coach at LSU on Sunday. He said he wanted to remain at Ole Miss to coach the team in the College Football Playoff, but his former boss had no interest in that arrangement. On Monday, Kiffin shared some photos on social media that he took while inside LSU’s football facility. He showcased some of the hardware the Tigers have accumulated over the years, including several national championships and Heisman Trophies. 🐯@LSUfootball pic.twitter.com/B3PJeYQuf9— Lane Kiffin (@Lane_Kiffin) December 1, 2025 The message was obvious. Kiffin has joined one of the most successful programs in college football history and intends to add to the trophy collection. What many fans were quick to point out, however, is that Kiffin did not produce any national championships or Heisman Trophy winners at Ole Miss. Ole Miss doesn’t know what having one of these in the office looks like 🐯#GeauxTigers— TJ Jaconia (@tjjaconia) December 1, 2025 Not gonna find any of those in Oxford. They are nice aren’t they coach?— Larry Morales (@LarryMo_WhoDat) December 1, 2025 Give me accomplishments Lane Kiffin had nothing to do with for $200 Alex— Dave Harrington (@TVSportseyeguy) December 1, 2025 Don’t see any of those in Oxford— earl (@earl_dasquirrel) December 1, 2025 Closest you’ll ever get to either of those trophies— Nate (@CoachNewell_21) December 1, 2025 Kiffin got to work immediately after he signed his contract with LSU over the weekend. He is now one of the highest-paid coaches in college football, so LSU officials obviously believe he is capable of adding to the school’s trophy room. Critics of Kiffin would argue that if he were capable of winning a national championship, he would have done so in his six seasons at Ole Miss. Though, the Rebels have a chance to win a title this year, and Kiffin is responsible for building that team. LSU also has more money and better resources, which is why Kiffin chose to leave Oxford. Kiffin received a ruthless send-off from Ole Miss fans on Sunday. It is going to be a while before anger toward him in Oxford dies down. Nik Bonitto seals Broncos’ SNF win with awesome blocked pass
Nik Bonitto sealed the Denver Broncos’ 27-26 Week 13 overtime win over the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md., on Sunday night with a great play. The Commanders had scored a touchdown on 4th-and-goal from the Denver 3-yard line with 2:47 left in overtime to pull within one. They decided to try a 2-point conversion for the win. The Broncos sent six players in a pass rush, and Marcus Mariota tried to throw the ball to running back Jeremy McNichols as his outlet for the blitz. But Bonitto came blazing through and was able to leap and bat down the pass from Mariota to win the game. He is the first Broncos player since Von Miller to have double-digit sacks in a season. Not only that, but he also makes some awesome defensive plays at the most important moments. Lane Kiffin wastes no time meeting LSU recruits
Jan 1, 2022; New Orleans, LA, USA; Mississippi Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin reacts during warm ups before the 2022 Sugar Bowl against the Baylor Bears at the Caesars Superdome. Mandatory Credit: Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports Lane Kiffin was meeting with LSU recruits within hours of taking the head coaching job. Kiffin hit the recruiting trail immediately on Sunday after leaving Ole Miss. Defensive tackle Lamar Brown, an LSU commit who is ranked as the top recruit in the 2026 class, got an immediate visit from Kiffin and shared a photo of their meeting on social media. Welcome Home @Lane_Kiffin #GeauxTigers🐯 pic.twitter.com/aIe0Rqdrsp— Lamar Brown (@lamar1brown) December 1, 2025 Presumably, Kiffin wants to make sure LSU’s current recruiting class does not have any second thoughts about their commitments. He seems to have nothing to worry about with Brown, a five-star recruit and Baton Rouge native. Brown originally committed to LSU in July under former coach Brian Kelly. Kiffin moved on quickly from Ole Miss. He announced in the afternoon that he was taking the job, and was on a plane to Baton Rouge shortly after that. Ole Miss fans made sure to give him a proper sendoff, but it does not seem to be weighing on his mind. Ole Miss fans certainly will not be impressed with how Kiffin behaved on Sunday. However, one can still argue he handled things better than his LSU predecessor did four years ago. The post Lane Kiffin wastes no time meeting LSU recruits appeared first on Larry Brown Sports.

Brock Bowers had Catch of the Year candidate on crazy TD
Brock Bowers made the highlight reel with an impressive catch he had for his Las Vegas Raiders in their Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Sunday. Bowers’ Raiders had a second-and-goal from the Raiders’ 6-yard line down 24-7 to the Chargers in the fourth quarter. Geno Smith took a snap from the shotgun formation and threw low and behind Bowers. It seemed like he was almost throwing the ball away, but Bowers made an amazing one-handed catch to secure the touchdown.
