United Blood 2026 Lineup Has Speed, Foundation, Agnostic Front, Breakdown, So Much Hardcore
The Richmond hardcore festival United Blood holds a special place in moshers' hearts, and it was fondly missed when the organizers decided to stop doing the fest after COVID forced the cancellation of the 2020 edition. Last year, though, United Blood came back for the first time in six years, selling out Richmond's bigass Canal Club and once again providing two straight days of welcoming bedlam. I went to last year's fest, and I had a great time. That fest wasn't a one-off. United Blood is coming back in April, and its newly unveiled lineup has a whole lot of bangers. Giallo Announce Debut Album Tenebrarum: Hear “Sleepwalking” & “Teeth Of Glass”
The latest album announcement from Colorado hardcore institution Convulse Records comes from Giallo. The band hails from Minneapolis, where a lot of unspeakable atrocities have been taking place lately. And though debut album Tenebrarum was presumably recorded before ICE made the Twin Cities something like a war zone, advance tracks “Sleepwalking” (96 seconds, real crazy)… The post Giallo Announce Debut Album Tenebrarum: Hear “Sleepwalking” & “Teeth Of Glass” appeared first on Stereogum.

Bruce Hornsby Announces New Album Indigo Park And 2026 US Tour
In April 1986, Bruce Hornsby and his band the Range released their debut album The Way It Is, and things would never be the same. You see what I did there? It's not great, but it's better than the line about "Bruce Hornsby has the Range," which I thought about using as the lede of this post. Aren't you glad I didn't do that? Anyway, Hornsby has had a long, fascinating career. Among many other things, he spent a few years as a touring member of the Grateful Dead, and he recently shared a tribute for his late bandmate Bob Weir. Wolf Parade’s Spencer Krug Debuts Solo Piano Version Of Heated Rivalry Hit “I’ll Believe In Anything”
Last month, Wolf Parade won the random-ass viral-hit lottery when their 2005 song "I'll Believe In Anything" soundtracked a dramatic moment on the HBO sports romance Heated Rivalry. In the past few weeks, the song has gone through a huge resurgence. Co-leader Spencer Krug commented on it and published a history of the song on his Patreon, and the band announced a new reissue and hockey-themed T-shirt. Now, Krug is performing the song solo, something that he never did before.
