Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park and Universal Volcano Bay water park are both closed today (Monday, December 15, 2025) due to inclement weather. Typhoon Lagoon & Volcano Bay Closed There are no hours listed for today on the webpages for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Universal Volcano Bay. Both are scheduled to open tomorrow. The high temperature forecasted for Orlando today is 64°F with light winds. (via Weather.com) It’s common for the water parks to close during cold snaps in the winter. Both closed in early November amid a Cold Weather Advisory. Typhoon Lagoon also closed for a couple days earlier in December. They were likely close on more days in the next month or two. Guests arriving in 2025 and wanting to visit Typhoon Lagoon can enjoy water park admission on check-in day—included with their stay—and will want to keep these closures in mind. Los Angeles Fire Department has confirmed that the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were found inside home. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.” LAPD officials responded to the home, 200 block of Chadbourne Ave., at around 3:30 pm, where the two bodies were found. Chadbourne Ave. Inside the residence, officers discovered 2 decedents.
