Seahawks fan discussion: Bears vs. Rams determines Seattle’s NFC Championship opponent
The Seattle Seahawks will be hosting the NFC Championship Game next Sunday after soundly defeating the San Francisco 49ers. As for who they’ll face next? We’ve still yet to figure that one out. It’ll be a bitterly cold and snowy and blustery day in Chicago when the Bears take on the Los Angeles Rams. On paper, the Rams should win, but they narrowly escaped the Carolina Panthers a week ago. The Chicago Bears have been an inspiring story filled with improbable comeback wins under rookie head coach Ben Johnson and second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. Seattle has faced the Rams twice and the games have been decided on the final play, with each team getting a victory. The Bears haven’t faced the Seahawks this season and it’d at least be a fresh matchup as opposed to taking on another NFC West foe for a third time. I imagine most of you are pulling for the Bears, and if you’re not then you must really want to stick it to the Rams once and for all. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will be calling Super Bowl 60 three weeks from now, and they’re on the mic for this final Divisional Round matchup.
