Police investigating smash and grab at Bristol jewelry store
Police are investigating a smash and grab at a jewelry store in Bristol. It happened at Kay Jewelers on Farmington Avenue on Monday evening, according to police. Two masked suspects entered the store and used a hammer to break open a display case, police said. They snatched jewelry from the cases and quickly left the store. The value of the jewelry was still being determined, according to police. A similar smash and grab happened at the Connecticut Post Mall over the weekend. It’s not clear if police think the two incidents might be related.

Although it’s mostly sunny skies, the high temperatures are in the mid-20s. Tonight looks fair and cold with low temperatures ranging from 0 to 10 degrees overnight. The clouds will come out tomorrow with temperatures near 30 degrees. There could be some snow showers tomorrow night. Thursday looks milder with temperatures in the 40s. This weekend looks extremely cold with highs near 12 degrees for both days.
