Well, a few things: Karen Bass didn’t “announce“ a pay cut, it had to be extracted out of her by me on April 26, 2025. She wasn’t exactly ready for such a direct question but her answer was “absolutely“. However, as of November 27, 2025 not only has she not taken a pay cut, her salary has spiked from $340,000 in $2024 to $495,000 in 2025. This has made no news.
