so like, who cares whether the players like the GM? do they ever even DO anything with him? they don't even negotiate contracts -- their agents do that. why does eric ebron even have an opinion on this?

In reply to CoachCot. It’s a not a coach throwing a player against the locker either . Brian Flores was fired from Miami in 2022 . It’s 2026 . He’s been on the Steelers and the Vikings. Just like players , he wouldn’t get any interviews anywhere if he was a head case. He’ll probably be out the league .

In reply to TennSteeler. So are the QB free agent pool and prospects besides Mendoza. Pick your poison. It's a temp idea if Klay is hired because of the connection working with him. His stats aren't even that bad. More 300+ yard games (3) this year than the Steelers have had since Ben Roethlisberger. Russ had one in 2024, Kenny in 2022, Ben in 2021. That's it.
